OTN Canada Data and Metadata
OTN data managers at Dalhousie University and around the world are working to make the world's ocean tracking data and related information freely accessible without charge by the broader scientific community as well as respecting the intellectual property rights of its providers. In doing this, OTN will lead the transformation of marine animal tracking into a truly global, collaborative discipline. One of OTNs principal values is its standards-based data warehouse. The scope of this database will foster major scientific breakthroughs.
Data and metadata generated from OTN Canada projects are stored in the OTN Global data warehouse, making them an integral part of this collaborative effort.
