OTN Canada Interactions, Collaborations, and Partnerships
The OTN Canada Network is funded primarily by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). Its major funding partners are the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). Other partners and collaborators include individual DFO labs, other federal and provincial departments, conservation agencies, and industrial collaborators. In addition, strong national and international collaborations are forged with other institutions, initiatives and research programs such as AOOS, CHONe, COML, GEOSS, GOAPP, GOOS, NEPTUNE, NOAA, POST, and VENUS.
